Is the SYG3 in stock? How quickly do you ship it?

I live in the US ( specifically Long Island in New York state). I want to keep dogs off my side yard which is about 20-25 feet deep. I would appreciate your recommendation as to which of your devices would provide the strongest deterrent and best chance of success of keeping these dogs off this property.

SYG3. Although the focus of this product is cats, provided the dogs have reasonable hearing, you have an excellent chance of success.

As I am in the US, if I purchase one model and it doesn't really do the job, what is the possibility of swapping it for another model or returning it? Have you had US customers buy these products?

I want to mount it on a window ledge about 4 to 5 feet off the ground. This ledge faces the center of the side yard to be protected.

The SYG3 appears to be the strongest product. Is the signal apparent to people?

The unit can be uncomfortable to people nearby, especially at lower frequency settings. To avoid discomfort we advise customers to switch off when people are nearby. You can hear a small click when the motion sensor is activated.

What db levels does it produce, say one to 2 feet away?

About 75% of variable output is 120-130 db measured at .5m, however there is a spillover as high as 150db which makes the SYG3 a more effective product than most.

I'm trying to get rid of skunks. Is this recommended for skunks also ? Or just cats ?

I tried the yard guard about two years ago, and it worked great. I'm considering the SYG-3 because of the price. How long will it be expected to last under normal conditions?

SYG3 is a rugged product which should last a lot longer than the standard 12 months warranty. 3 years can be expected.

Why is SYG3 so special?

It is a better quality product from both an engineering and technical point of view to almost all ultrasonic products of it's type and price range. It has an integral PIR motion sensor which is sensitive enough to react to small mammals at medium to long range. It is rugged and designed to last. It's easy to use. The most important reason is that it solves problems for our customers.

I am in the United States. ( Cleveland,Ohio) Do you offer any kind off special delivery, like overnight, or two day delivery? If not then what is the average delivery time?

We can ship by FedEx which is 20.00 GBP extra. This is a 2 business day service to the US. The standard method is Registered Airmail which takes about 10 days for a US shipment.

Do I need to use the motion sensor switched on?

You might think 'why would I need a motion sensor at all anyway?' Good question, but from anecdotal evidence, it seems that animals and pests really hate it because it behaves like a predator (how much more so in the confined space of an attic). That doesn't mean to say that you shouldn't need have it switched to the 'on all the time' setting.
